Network is back to normal. No action needed by node operators. Cause of issue and identity of validators affected currently undisclosed. It’s speculated that validators belonging to a centralized exchange or pool went offline.

A large portion of validators started going offline around epoch 268,505. It doesn’t appear to be a client bug - most speculation is that it’s a pool. You may see your own rewards drop slightly. There is no action for node operators to take. The issue is being monitored and potentially affected pools are investigating.
